Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Circuit Diagram Generator's websites and application at www.circuitdiagramgenerator.ai and app.circuitdiagramgenerator.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Circuit Diagram Generator provides AI-assisted tools to generate, edit, simulate, and export circuit schematics. Features, credit allowances, and plan limits are described on our pricing page and may change over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless canceled.
• Plans may include a 7-day free trial. A payment method may be required to start a trial. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
• Unused AI credits generally do not roll over unless we state otherwise for a specific plan.
• Overage usage may be billed at the rates shown for your plan.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us in writing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.
• Upload malware or content you do not have rights to use.
• Resell or sublicense access except as expressly permitted under a team/Studio plan.
• Use automated scraping that degrades performance or circumvents plan limits.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of prompts, sketches, and other materials you submit ("User Content"), and of schematics you generate for your account, subject to these Terms and third-party component library restrictions. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit User Content and that it does not infringe others' rights.

7. AI outputs and professional judgment

Schematics, simulations, and other outputs are generated with AI and may contain errors, incomplete designs, or unsuitable part selections. The Service does not replace engineering review, safety analysis, or professional design practice. You are solely responsible for verifying outputs before manufacturing, teaching, or deploying any circuit.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, documentation, and design systems, is owned by Circuit Diagram Generator and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of our IP. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service may integrate payment processors, AI providers, hosting, and analytics tools. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or create risk to the Service or other users. You may cancel your subscription at any time from billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, or fit for any specific design or safety-critical use.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CIRCUIT DIAGRAM GENERATOR AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of outputs, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Circuit Diagram Generator operates its primary business entity, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
